With a strong commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable populations, Kate has consistently worked towards creating inclusive and supportive environments for children and adults. She is particularly passionate about Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waivers and child welfare, leveraging these areas of expertise to drive meaningful change and support. Prior to joining the HeartSOS team, Kate worked as a Registered Behavior Technician, a HCBS direct support professional, a service coordinator with the Bureau of Disabilities Services, and a foster care support specialist. She is the membership chair for Indianapolis Animal Professionals Advocating for Animal Welfare (IPAAW) and spends her free time volunteering and tending to her animals and plants.

Dr. Morales has been a licensed psychologist for over 20 years. He received his Ph.D. From the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and completed a postdoctoral residency at Vanderbilt University. He has extensive experience in Health and Rehabilitation Psychology, and believes effective psychological treatment must also include lifestyle and wellness interventions that are too often ignored or minimized. He has been a psychologist in university counseling centers, director of psychology for a CARF accredited rehabilitation clinic, and worked in hospital based primary care mental health.
He specializes in evidence based interventions for psychological disorders such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD.

Heart of the Spectrum Outpatient Services (HeartSOS) is a new service delivery model by The Hope Source. HeartSOS offers multi-disciplinary therapy services for skill building that empowers our clients to meet their life and relationship goals.
Since 2007, The Hope Source has provided the highest quality comprehensive treatment and educational services for individuals with ASD and their families through our natural, developmental approach to ABA at the foundation.
Now, we want to bring our cutting edge philosophy to those needing a less intensive model with HeartSOS by offering in-person and telehealth services in a care plan that meets every client's unique needs during any period of youth.
Our ABA Services are accredited by the Behavioral Health Center for Excellence.
